If you don't know Jesus, then this page is

The Most Important Page

you will ever read!!

Are you good enough to go to heaven?

Contrary to what many have taught over the years,  being good isn't enough to save you from hell.  Likewise being bad isn't enough to keep you from Heaven.  In fact how we act or feel has little to do with our eternal destiny.  The Bible makes it perfectly clear that there is only one way to get to Heaven.

Are you a sinner?

But let's back up for a second and take a look at the big picture.  What exactly is a sinner?  The bible states very clearly that we are all sinners (Romans 3:23, 5:12).  We cannot help it.  It's not our fault.  We were born that way.  Not fair you might say?  Well it would be cruel and unfair to make this assertion, if there were no way to remedy the problem.  Read on...

Self realization...

To begin with, all one needs to do, is accept the fact that they are a sinner.  Remember, we are not sinners because we do bad things, rather we sin because we are born into sin.  The bible says if we confess our sins (1 John 1:9), that based upon Jesus' sacrifice upon the Cross at Calvary, God forgives all our sin.  What does this mean?  Imagine someone who is very rich and generous graciously paying off all your debt.  That is something most of us only fantasize about.  Salvation is so much better!  We get to live forever!

How can this be?

You are not reading this page by accident.  Sounds kind of weird and metaphysical doesn't it?  The bible says that Jesus is waiting patiently for you to invite Him into your life (Revelation 3:20).  His promise is that He will come into your life and have fellowship with you, for life!  In fact, forever!  The Bible states that you cannot receive salvation unless the Spirit of God draws you to him.  In His vast, endless wisdom, he chooses to use circumstances, situations, and people to draw souls to him.

The Choice:

This can only be achieved through a sovereign act of your will.  You see, God created us in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26).  As part of His likeness, we have been created with an unalienable right to choose.  We can either accept salvation, or reject it.  This has very broad, sweeping implications.

Unfortunately, our great ancestors, Adam and Eve made a bad choice.  They chose disobedience to God, and brought a great curse upon us all.  This is what made salvation necessary.  But God had a plan all along.  You see, the curse that was visited upon the family of man, has no apparent cure.  The irony was, that only a sinless man could lift the curse.  The nature of the curse also insured that nobody born of flesh was sinless.  What could man do???

This was where religion began.  Various sons of Adam began to attempt redemption and to win favor with God by their own means.  We see the first example of this in Genesis 4.   The very firstborn of Adam began to rewrite the rules, murdered his brother, and was banished.  Sadly this has been a trend all through human history.

As I said, God had a plan.  He very carefully laid out the rules.  You see, the law of sin works through the bloodline of the men.  Since all people are born of a man and woman,  all offspring are sinful at birth.  You can't help it.  It's not your fault.  God had a wonderful plan;  He Himself would father a mortal child, a sinless child.  One who would grow up, and pay the death penalty for the sins of the race!  He did this, not because we deserve it.  Rather He did this, because He loves us.  And he did it out of His sovereign choice.

The Bottom line

The simple truth is this:  It was all begun as simple choices.

1.)  God chose to create the universe, the earth, and man.
2.) Man chose to disobey God.  (God only had man's best interests at heart from the first.)
3.) God chose to provide man with a remedy to his own curse.
4.) Christ chose to pay the price in His own body.
5.)  Now the choice is yours.  Accept or reject?

If your choice is to reject, then back up to where you started.  Leave this page, you are not bound by anything that you didn't already arrive here with.

But if you choose to accept, then click here to follow some simple steps.
